Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is a composite index that summarizes the three basic dimensions of human approach, including long and healthy life (as a measure of longevity), knowledge/education (as a measure of standard of living).The HDI in Boven Digoel Regency continues to progress. In 2023, the achievement of Boven Digoel's HDI increased by 0.99 points from 66.33 in 2022 to 67.32 in 2023. With this achievement, the status of human development in Boven Digoel is included in the "Moderate" category.In the health sector, Life Expectancy is increasing. Babies born in 2023 have the hope of living up to 68.90 years, 0.37 years longer than the previous year in 2022, which was 68.53 years.
